Welcome to NEFR.........

The North East Freeriders was established in 2005 with only small number of riders who got together each weekend to sessions their favourite areas of the North Yorkshire moors.

As the name grew and the riders progressed they needed trails which were going to test them to there limit and improve their skills. At first progress was slow building the wooden drops and bridges in a small private wood. But, eventually, after fighting through the boiling hot summers and freezing cold winters, North Shore Trails began to develop in the woods....... They were living the dream of having their own private play area!!!!!

So to the present date and the North East Freeriders have grown and grown and have continued to build the North Shore Trails and Freeride area with obstacles such as drops, doubles, step downs, gap jumps, board walks, skinnies, helter-skelter's, Wall rides, sea saw's etc, to name but a few........

2007 saw the start of a Downhill race team which race in the the SDA, NPS, Dragon Downhill series and the 2008 season looks to be starting well with the sponsorship of Nema and Utopia Optics.

The website has continued to grow and we now have a forum where members can hang out and chat about anything bike related from Freeride to downhill. Luckily for us we also have a mechanic on the team so he can answer any of your broken bike questions.

With the North East Freeriders name growing each year, the future looks good for NEFR so lets get involved and get riding!!!!!
